Winter wonder land trends!
by Kiki on Nov.23, 2010, under Wardrobe, Fashion in general, Shopping & more, Trends
Since nearly 1,5 years we haev already our fashion column in the Marketplace, so why not show our articles here aswell – here the one for Dezember:

It’s December and for all nationalities English, Dutch, German, Scandinavian etc or for anyone staying in Spain for Christmas and New Year there is only one solution to see some real snow and that is going to Sierra Nevada. We will show you the winter wonderland fashion trends, but don’t worry you don’t need to be in the snow to wear these fashion looks.
Most of you will remember the scene in the Bridget Jones movie, where Bridget meets Mr. Darcy at a Christmas party wearing a Rudolph the reindeer knitted sweater. But beware fellow fashion followers; wearing a DIY knitted sweater is very fashionable at the moment. For all of us who are not so handy with knitting do not despair there are lot of beautiful knitted cardigans, sweaters, and skirts available on the high street and for the very trendsetters among us; knitted jumpsuits.

The collection from D&G, which is the young line from designer duo Dolce Y Gabbana, really made knitwear as it came straight from Lapland, and we have seen plenty of reindeers on the warm knitted items.
Sweater dresses are a huge trend at the moment. We have seen at D&G; a simple cable grey knitted dress and they make this knitted dress more up to date by just breaking the waist by using a small black leather belt, which is fitted around the waist. Michael Kors had this amazing golden Lurex knitted dress, which is perfect for Xmas and New Year and wearable for in the daytime too. This is a perfect example; how to wear a knitted dress and to make it suitable for; looking glam and still feeling comfortable. For those of you who love this look, we have seen golden knitted Lurex cardigans at Mango, which can be worn with so many items such as old jeans or skirt and create an instant glam to any outfit.
The perfect holiday season outfit for onlinefashionstylist would be to wear the look with a simple nude silk skirt, black ankle boots, a brown tone cable sweater, some woolen gloves and to make this outfit complete just add a brooch.
Chanel has made their entire collection look North Pole proof. This last look we absolutely adore; the woolen cape, the patch work woolen skirt which is just the icing on the cake and makes us really excited about the current cooler temperatures. Happy holidays! Denica & Kiki
