We were drinking our second cup of coffee after doing some hard work…. as we spotted these lovely spanish girls. So here some Malaga street styles!

Vintage clothing has become very popular in recent years, but many potential customers are curious about the difference between vintage and just old. But what is considered vintage? Most clothing produced between 1920 and the late 1970s is considered vintage, but some will extend this to the mid-1980s.

Finally we have found a fabulous vintage /second hand shop in Malaga city centre. Danish Ricky started her shop a year ago. Although the Spanish seem to get slowly bit by bit warmed to idea of wearing vintage and appreciating the unique and fashion art history that each vintage piece has in comparison from new clothes which really are all products of mass production.

Ricky calls her shop her baby and you can see this by how she channels the love for vintage in the way how beautiful everything is displayed. Ricky also sells vintage clothing online, but feels more passionate about selling her fashion art (as she calls her vintage pieces herself) to clients in her shop, as the personal approach and finding the right outfit for her clients is unbeatable and gives her more satisfaction than through selling online. Ricky clothes are all selected by her and she gets most of her pieces from Denmark, where vintage is more known and though her contacts there easier to get stock. She has many plans for the future: vintage furniture and home furnishings and we have the feeling she will bring vintage right on the Malaga map!

My last little bargain hunt at the end of sales was successful and although I am not a big fan of the color blue but that does not rule out the blue of nice denim! This denim dress from Zara looks fabulous together with my studded purse from Mango and my blue colored booties from Enrico Antinori mixing perfect with my denim dress look. The scarf from Stradivarius make to look ready to go!

Actress and singer….Gwyneth seems do it all ……….she had her first singing debut in 2000 in Duets in which she performed a cover version of Smokey Robinson´s Cruisin. The song was released and went to number one in Australia. In 2006 she sang “What Is This Thing Called Love” and in the same year she sang with her best friend the one and only rapper Jay-Z during his concert at the Royal Albert Hall!

She also played and more important sang the part as a substitute teacher in Fox´s hit series Glee. On February 13th She made a live appearance at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards where she performed with Cee Lo. Is she ready to turn her career around?
